The Beijing Institute of Embodied Intelligence (BiEi), established with substantial support from the Beijing Municipal Government, is a novel research institution co-founded by Academician Qiao Hong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Institute of Automation and leading enterprises in embodied intelligence.BiEi pioneers innovative approaches to embodied intelligence, bridging gaps in domestic large-scale AI models and core hardware performance through systematic synergistic integration, thereby accelerating milestone technological advances. Moving forward, it will persistently drive cutting-edge research, attract global top-tier talent, accelerate commercialization of scientific achievements, and establish a globally influential innovation hub for embodied intelligence, spearheading the field’s evolution and fortifying Beijing’s role as an international sci-tech innovation center.
