Jianghuai Advanced Technology Collaborative Innovation Center (referred to as "Jianghuai Center") is a new-type research institution approved by the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and jointly established by provincial and ministerial authorities. Founded in September 2021 and located in Hefei, Anhui Province, it is registered as a public institution while adopting enterprise-style management. Jianghuai Center has established the nation's first academician workstation dedicated to "humanoid robots" and successfully obtained approval for two provincial-level research platforms in May 2024: the Anhui Key Laboratory of Humanoid Robots and the Anhui Industrial Innovation Center for Humanoid Robots. Guided by the mission to accelerate the development of a global hub for talent and innovation, Jianghuai Center is committed to becoming a pivotal force in strategic scientific and technological innovation. Focusing on intelligent technology as its core theme, it conducts research in fields such as intelligent unmanned systems and intelligent evaluation. The center has established three research institutes—Intelligent Robotics, Intelligent Components, and Intelligent Evaluation—along with an industrial transformation platform to facilitate the application of advanced scientific and technological achievements in Anhui Province, actively fostering and developing new quality productive forces.
