National Engineering Research Center of Intelligent Equipment for Agriculture (NERCIEA) was established in 2009 on the basis of Beijing Research Center of Intelligent Equipment for Agriculture. According to the development trend of world agricultural intelligent equipment and China’s needs of modern agriculture, NERCIEA is engaged in solving the key, fundamental and common technical problems in the field of intelligent agricultural equipment. It focuses on establishing of digital design and test platform of agricultural intelligent equipment, making breakthrough in the key techniques of designing, processing and manufacturing of intelligent agricultural equipments, as well as developing various intelligent agricultural equipment products to meet the needs of different agricultural production scales and management patterns, which provide a solid technical support for the development of modern agriculture and enhance the technical level of intelligent agricultural equipment in China.
