Founded in December 2023, X Square Robot focuses on developing a "General Embodied Intelligence" capability grounded in real-world data. As the first domestic team to implement an end-to-end approach for General Embodied Intelligence, we are building a unified architecture that integrates perception, planning, and control. Our proprietary"Great Wal"series of operational models, embodied by the flagship WALL-A, fuses multimodal sensory inputs, natural-language directives, and motion-control commands into a seamless end-to-end mapping. Leveraging large-scale pretraining on general knowledge and multitask learning, WALL-A already demonstrates zero-shot generalization on novel, unseen tasks-a hallmark of a truly general-purpose robot. We have also created a closed-loop data ecosystem: dozens of in-house data-processing models and successive generations of data-capture hardware ensure automated quality control and efficient data collection. On the hardware front, we continuously optimize our robotic platforms for multimodal-model control, delivering fine-manipulation dexterity and reliable performance in unstructured environments. Our robots are already operating in multi-step, complex scenarios, showcasing tangible applications.
