Dr. Goldenberg is the founder and professor of the field of Robotics at the Universityof Toronto. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Ryerson University and Guest Professor atNanjing University of Science and Technology, P. R. China. He is a Life Fellow of the Instituteof Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), a Fellow of the American Society ofMechanical Engineers (ASME), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), a Fellowof the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), a Fellow of The American Association for theAdvancement of Science (AAAS), a Member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEng),and a Designated Consulting Engineer in Ontario (CEng). He is the recipient of the 2010 PEOEngineering Medal for Entrepreneurship. He is also the recipient (2013) of the Sir John KennedyMedal, the highest honor awarded by the EIC for outstanding contributions to the profession ofEngineering.
