Abderrahmane KHEDDAR received the MSc and PhD in robotics from the University ofPierre et Marie Curie, Paris. He is presently Directeur de Recherche at CNRS and the Codirectorof the CNRS-AIST Joint Robotic Laboratory, Japan and leader of the Interactive Digital Humansteam at CNRS-University of Montpellier, France. He is also adjunct professor at Beijing Instituteof Technology. His research interests include haptics, humanoids in airplane manufacturingwith Airbus, and thought-based control. He is an IEEE Senior Member, Member of the steeringcommittee of the IEEE Brain Initiative, Titular of the National Academy of Technology of France,and Knight of the National Order of the Merit.
